Darren Weir

Darren Weir is an accredited civil and commercial mediator working with individuals and organisations across Kent. He trained with the London School of Mediation and is registered with the Civil Mediation Council.
Darren has experience mediating a broad range of disputes, including workplace, neighbourhood, property, probate and intergenerational matters. Since 2024, he has also worked as a volunteer mediator with Ashford Mediation Service.

A former criminal barrister, Darren brings extensive experience of managing difficult conversations, identifying the central issues in a dispute and helping people move towards practical solutions. Alongside his mediation practice, he is Director of Kent Law School’s Solicitors’ Practice Course and contributes to mediation education at the University of Kent.

Darren was nominated for Community Mediator of the Year at the National Mediation Awards 2026.
